About The Position

Under direct supervision, responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Downloading and archiving finalized course and program proposals, memos, and other files related to the curriculum process. Type, format, and create reports from academic and room scheduling, curriculum, and catalog software. Manage and archive files from the Common Course Numbering Process. Type and format content in the annual college catalog. Support the transfer program through draft checking to make sure items in various documents match. Assist in scheduling and coordinating curriculum committee meetings including agenda and meeting minutes preparation and archiving.

Requirements

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent education and one year of clerical experience which included experience in one or more of the following areas: maintaining records and reviewing forms, documents, and other written materials; OR six months of experience as an Administrative Aid in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated writing and proofreading skills, with demonstrated experience in producing error-free, high-quality documentation and professional correspondence.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with various computer programs including scheduling or curriculum or catalog software, student information systems, and Microsoft applications.
  • Experience maintaining organized digital archives and document repositories with high accuracy, security, and attention to detail.
