Wooddale Church is a multigenerational, Bible-teaching church in Minnesota with campuses in Eden Prairie, Edina, and the University of Minnesota. The Children’s Ministry Administrative Assistant provides part-time administrative support for Children’s Ministry at the Eden Prairie campus. Working within established ministry systems and processes, this role handles essential recurring administrative tasks including registrations, Planning Center scheduling, rosters, records, and room reservations.

Requirements

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently within established systems and processes.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and interruptions within a limited weekly schedule.
  • Clear, professional, and hospitable communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; experience with Planning Center or similar ministry software preferred.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Subscribe to and affirm the Statement of Faith and Covenant of Wooddale Church.
  • Become or remain a member in good standing of Wooddale Church.
  • Be a regular participant in public worship at Wooddale Church.

Responsibilities

  • Administer Children’s Ministry registrations and enrollment, including routine updates and family registration questions.
  • Maintain Planning Center volunteer schedules, assignments, and rosters.
  • Maintain ministry databases, attendance records, forms, reports, and other administrative records.
  • Coordinate room reservations and routine facility requests.
  • Prepare and organize administrative materials for weekly programs and special events.
  • Provide routine administrative support to Children’s Ministry staff and volunteers.
  • Assist with administrative projects as time and responsibilities allow.
  • Participate in appropriate staff and Children’s Ministry team meetings.
