About The Position

The Administrative Assistant 2 (AA2) position supports the Impaired Driving Section by providing administrative services to the entire section. The position also supports the statewide Ignition Interlock Program (IIP). The Impaired Driving Section (IDS) is comprised of the Breath Test Program (BTP), Ignition Interlock Program (IIP) and Drug Evaluation and Classification (DEC) Program. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two years of clerical experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and orally
  • Customer service oriented
  • Ability and desire to work cooperatively in a team setting
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to identify and handle competing work priorities
  • Ability to plan and manage time effectively
  • Remain acutely aware of timeframes and successfully meet deadlines to ensure continued delivery of services

  • Ability to take action to meet the needs of others

Responsibilities

  • Compose business communications
  • Compose, send and respond to electronic mail
  • Answer telephones
  • Provide customer service
  • Facilitate the Technician Certificate Testing
  • Update and maintain the ignition interlock manufacturer database records
  • Monitor interlock customer failure reports
  • Assist in fulfilling public disclosure requests
  • Maintain retention schedules on all interlock program documents
  • Order supplies as needed from approved vendors
  • Provides clerical support to the Impaired Driving Section personnel
  • Maintain and prepare Impaired Driving Section invoices and credit card statements
