Johns Hopkins Student Health and Well-Being (SHWB) is seeking an Administrative and Operations Specialist, Student Health and Well-Being, to provide a broad range of support and coordination for operations in its central office on the Homewood campus. Co-reporting to the Senior Executive Director of Student Disability Services and the Assistant Vice Provost for Student Health and Well-Being, this position works on a range of administrative assignments for both the vice provost’s office and its Student Disability Services unit. The role functions as an adaptable administrator charged with overseeing key SHWB workflows, manages office needs and business processes, and directly supports two executives. The position requires a high level of discretion as it regularly handles sensitive and confidential information. For context, Student Health and Well-Being is a university wide division that provides holistic health and well-being services to enhance students’ and trainees’ experiences at Johns Hopkins University. The primary way it provides these services is through its four units: Primary Care, Mental Health Services, Health Promotion and Well-Being, and Student Disability Services. Student Disability Services provides a variety of accommodations and services to students across the university at all schools. These services include: providing leadership and collaboration in framing a commitment to disability access and equity as an integral aspect of JHU’s culture, advising and educating the campus community about disability and inclusive practices, and providing services, strategies, and accommodations to mitigate the barriers faced by individual disabled people.
