Administrative Analysts provide analysis and support to administrative operations impacting the Judicial Branch and act on behalf of the State Court Administrator. The employee will report to the State Court Administrator and will provide support to the Chief Legal Officer, the Deputy State Court Administrators, the Human Resources Administrator, the Court Interpreter Program Manager, and the Education Manager. Administrative Analysts are responsible for administrative operations such as constituent relations, media and legislative inquiries, and troubleshooting on behalf of the State Court Administrator. Work includes making decisions in the official’s absence on the appropriateness of signing documents, what meetings to attend, addressing inquiries of a sensitive and confidential nature from a variety of sources, and seeing work through to resolution. Work also includes providing guidance and consultation to Judicial Branch staff regarding policies, procedures, priorities, and administrative concerns. The employee will prepare summary reports to the State Court Administrator outlining relevant information concerning issues and challenges with recommendations for corrective action. Contacts may include internal and external executives, judicial officers, and other leadership, the Office of the Governor, union officials, outside contractors, bail agents, employees, legislators, and media personnel.
