About The Position

The Administrative Analyst is responsible for administrative support in the College of Humanities, Arts, Social Sciences, and Education (CHASSE) Dean’s Office. Administrative duties include but are not limited to college stakeholder communication, paperwork tracking support, financial support, scheduling support, and researching and preparing special reports. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency policy.

Requirements

  • Formal education is equivalent to a high school diploma.
  • Demonstrated ability to adjust to change and be flexible;
  • Ability to make mature, common-sense decisions based on current and/or available knowledge;
  • Ability to display a cooperative and approachable attitude and demeanor;
  • Knowledge of work-related subject area;
  • Knowledge of computers and software applications and ability to quickly learn platforms to support essential activities;
  • Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of basic mathematics;
  • Ability to prepare, present, and review oral and written information and reports;
  • Ability to research and analyze related work program information;
  • Ability to develop, recommend, interpret, and apply policies and procedures;
  • Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects and demonstrate organizational and prioritization abilities in accomplishing tasks.
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree or higher;
  • Experience with Banner, Workday, and/or Degree Works.

Responsibilities

  • Support the work of the Dean’s Office through general duties: support office management and documentation; support communication with internal and external stakeholders; assist with college space needs; support for Mailroom coordination, and support financial activities for the college;
  • Assist the CHASSE Student Success Center with communications to students and other advising-related administrative tasks including communicating with newly admitted students, and coordinating with Mail assigning advisors and running needed reports on campus systems;
  • Assist with scheduling and course section building in Workday Student;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
