This classification is used in multiple City departments. Under supervision, provides administrative assistant in a staff capacity to City department or agency heads by performing a wide range of increasingly responsible and difficult professional and technical duties leading to the effective operation of the department or agency to which assigned. Researches information on a variety of subjects related to the work of a City department or agency. Assists in the preparation of special studies on a City department's programs and procedures. Assists in the performance of the routine professional and technical operations of a City department or agency. Review and answers routine daily correspondence. May direct office services and supervise clerical personnel. Assists in the preparation of budgetary needs and departmental reports. There is one (1) vacancy within the Department of Health and Human Services in the Division of Senior Services. Under general supervision, the Administrative Analyst will support the department by assisting with research, special projects, event coordination and other areas as needed. Assist with membership services such as new registrations, renewals, and ID's. Provide monthly updates with membership spreadsheets and manage program files. Collect fees for planned trips and events, prepare monthly invoices, and order supplies. Provide support to the Renters Rebate program to include application processing, fielding inquiries, and providing assistance as needed. There is one (1) vacancy within the Department of Families, Children, and Youth. Assist in performance of routine and technical daily operations of the division, including answering routine daily correspondence from providers, department leadership, and other departments. Assist with direct service needs of youth and families, including but not limited to; program delivery, intakes, referrals, and support in navigating available resources. Assist in preparation of departmental reports, data collection, department reports. Act as a constructive team-player in elevating and marketing the operations of the division.
