About The Position

Primoris Energy Services is seeking an Administration Manager to oversee payroll and Accounts Payable administrative operations across the Energy Segment. This position, which is located within our Pearland, Texas office, will collaborate closely with our Shared Services Group out of Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate brings experience from a large EPC construction organization and demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities. The Project Administrator Manager will oversee payroll and Accounts Payable related administrative functions across the Energy Segment. This role requires a highly organized, proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and ensures operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience within a large EPC construction environment and demonstrate exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in payroll, administration, or project support within construction or EPC environments
  • Experience in the construction industry is preferred
  • Experience working in an AP or Payroll Manager role
  • Proficiency of Excel, MS Office, Viewpoint, PVault, and Document Control programs as well as be comfortable and open to learning new software/programs
  • Strong leadership communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and enforce accountability
  • Process-driven leader focused on continuous improvement, scalability, and risk mitigation
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to manage competing deadlines at scale

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for streamlining and creating efficient payroll and accounts payable processes across the Energy Segment. Ensure consistent execution of payroll processes, HR support, and other administrative tasks.
  • Serve as the primary point of escalation for AP invoices and payroll related issues.
  • Ensure all weekly timecards are submitted, reviewed, approved, and processed timely in accordance with payroll deadlines.
  • Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing for union and non-union craft employees.
  • Partner with HR and Finance to maintain accurate employee data and resolve discrepancies.
  • Review and implement standardized procedures for site administration and payroll operations.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency and automation across administrative workflows.
  • Prepare and review weekly reports on payroll accuracy, compliance, and site performance.
  • Communicate effectively with project leadership, corporate teams, and field staff.
  • Travel up to 25% to provide hands-on support, training, and audits.
  • Serve as liaison with Shared Services Group’s concerns.
