About The Position

This role is responsible for leading a team of administrative assistants, fostering their growth, and overseeing team coordination. The position also involves assisting with firm/industry technology and processes, identifying areas for improvement, and potentially supporting partners as an assistant or subject matter expert. Requirements

  • At least 5+ years of administrative, office management or related experience, preferably in a professional services environment
  • HS Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Role requires the ability to travel
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills with a focus on client service and the ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative while maintaining high confidentiality.
  • Solid technical proficiency including knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

  • Associate’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the administrative manager on selection, interviewing, and hiring of new administrative assistants.
  • Create and oversee customized onboarding and training action plans for new administrative assistants.
  • Schedule and attend introduction and expectations meetings between new administrative assistants and partners/managers.
  • Schedule and attend weekly and 90-day check-ins with new administrative assistants.
  • Assist with testing, roll-out, resource development for new firm/industry technology and processes.
  • Work with the administrative manager to identify areas for process improvements and opportunities to gain better efficiency.
  • Assist with implementing and communicating changes.
  • Attend firm/service/industry meetings as needed or requested.
  • Assist with coordinating firm/regional/office administrative meetings and retreats with other administrative leaders.
  • May function as the assistant to one or more partners and/or serve as SME for specific software and processes regionally or firmwide.
  • Lead and manage a team of administrative assistants and foster individual and team growth.
  • Oversee team coordination and cooperation.
