This position is responsible for interpreting and entering client samples into the computer system, managing large projects, maintaining client files, delivering rush samples, and serving as an information contact at the receipt of samples in an efficient and detailed manner with a high degree of quality. The role requires applying GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, maintaining the highest quality standards, and demonstrating strong client service skills, teamwork, and collaboration. The specialist will proactively plan and multitask to maximize productivity, meet all quality and productivity metrics, and ensure regular attendance and punctuality. Key tasks include logging samples into the Lab Management Information System (LIMS), assigning testing, ensuring timely and accurate documentation, identifying and communicating discrepancies, labeling samples, performing label audits, and maintaining sample integrity through proper storage, inventory, and reconciliation. The role also involves reading and understanding SOPs, following safety precautions, learning new tasks quickly, and using a personal computer and necessary programs. Strong organizational ability, good judgment, self-motivation, excellent quality of work, attention to detail, and effective communication with client staff members are essential. All activities must be conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
