About The Position

University of Iowa Healthcare is seeking an Administrative Services Coordinator to support the complex research and evidence-based practice needs of the Department of Nursing, Evidence Based Practice. This role provides essential administrative support to various nursing offices, including Nursing Research and Evidence-Based Practice, Nursing Quality, Nursing Informatics, Wound Ostomy Nurses, and Diabetes Nurses. The coordinator will also manage administrative tasks for central nursing duties and support key committees and programs such as the Nursing Research and EBP Committee, EBP Internship, and EBP Change Champion. A significant part of the role involves budget oversight for these offices, including monthly reconciliation, contract management, and procurement. Additionally, the position will handle administrative support for the Director of Nursing's travel, manuscript editing, formatting, and submission, and will be responsible for coordinating education activities and managing complex workflow approval processes.

Requirements

  • Some (6 months – 1 year) administrative, office coordination or financial experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for the Nursing Research and Evidence-Based Practice Office, Nursing Quality, Nursing Informatics, Wound Ostomy Nurses, and Diabetes Nurses.
  • Offer administrative support for central nursing duties.
  • Support the Nursing Research and EBP Committee, including preparing agendas and minutes.
  • Oversee protocols needing review.
  • Provide administrative support for the EBP Internship and EBP Change Champion programs.
