University of Iowa Healthcare is seeking a 100% Administrative Services Coordinator for the Department of Nursing, Evidence Based Practice. This role focuses on supporting complex research and evidence-based practice needs for the system and external clients. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 6 months to 1 year of administrative, office coordination, or financial experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to analyze data and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Role models service excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for the Nursing Research and Evidence-Based Practice Office, Nursing Quality, Nursing Informatics, Wound Ostomy Nurses, Diabetes Nurses, and some Central Nursing duties.
  • Provide administrative support for committees and programs including the Nursing Research and EBP Committee, overseeing protocols needing review, EBP Internship, and EBP Change Champion.
  • Oversee budget for Nursing Research and Evidence-Based Practice Office, Nursing Quality, Nursing Informatics, Wound Ostomy Nurses, and Diabetes Nurses, including monthly reconciliation, contracts, and procurement.
  • Provide administrative support for DoN travel coordination.
  • Perform manuscript editing, formatting, and submission.
