The Admin - Dispatcher role is responsible for dispatching crews to the field to assure the customer receives the requested traffic control. This role involves collecting information from various sources, relaying job details to crews, managing call-outs and changes, and assisting crews with various issues throughout the day. Understanding construction plans is also a key part of this role to determine requirements for the scope of work.

Responsibilities

• Collect information from job calendar, traffic control plans, etc.
• Relay all job-related information to the crews so they have a clear understanding of the job
• Manage all call outs and changes to the scheduled job to make sure customer needs are still met
• Receive calls to assist crews in various ways such as safety issues, work zone set ups, scheduling conflicts, etc.
• Understanding construction plans to assist in determining what will be required to accommodate scope of work for the contractor
