About The Position

The purpose of this job is to dispatch crews to the field to assure the customer receives the requested traffic control. Duties include collecting information from the job calendar, traffic control plans, etc., and relaying all job-related information to the crews for a clear understanding of the job. This role also manages all call-outs and changes to scheduled jobs to ensure customer needs are met. Throughout the day, the dispatcher receives calls to assist crews with various issues such as safety, work zone set-ups, and scheduling conflicts. A key aspect of the role involves understanding construction plans to help determine the requirements for accommodating the scope of work for the contractor.
