About The Position

Provides overall direction and general administration of the hospital during eight hours each day and 24 hours of every weekend and holiday. Issues addressed typically involve public relations, safety, prevention of risk exposure, patient satisfaction, staff satisfaction, physician satisfaction, and protection of hospital physical assets.

Requirements

• Must obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within three years of employment; coursework must be completed outside of work hours. Nurses with an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) hired or rehired, or transferred from a non-nursing position, before December 1, 2017, are grandfathered and are not required to obtain a BSN.
• Current RN license issued by the Indiana State Board of Nursing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Randallia campus: current CPR and ACLS certification.
• Parkview Behavioral Health campus: CPI certification.
• Three to five years of RN experience; telemetry, emergency department, or critical care experience is preferred. This experience is required for the Randallia campus.
• Charge nurse experience or equivalent previous management experience is required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in directing and guiding personnel.

Nice To Haves

• Telemetry, emergency department, or critical care RN experience is preferred, except that it is required for the Randallia campus.
