About The Position

Benchmark Human Services is seeking a qualified, compassionate individual to join their team as an Admin Assistant to provide support to the First Steps program and staff. This role ensures the successful completion of cluster activities, accurate data entry, proper file maintenance, and effective communication with all customers. First Steps is Missouri’s Early Intervention program serving families with children from birth to three years old who have developmental delays or disabilities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance required.
  • 1 year of Early Intervention Program experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, organize, maintain, and enter data entry authorizations in system.
  • Ensure documentation submitted to SPOE is properly processed and filed.
  • Assist providers to resolve billing concerns.
  • Answer phone calls.
  • Complete referral forms for phone referrals.
  • Set-up child profiles upon referral.
  • Create and maintain consumer files as required.
  • Receive, process, and disseminate consumer information.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and consumers to ensure all needs are met.
  • Other duties as assigned.
