About The Position

This position serves as the initial point of contact for clients, handling phone calls, client intakes, appointment scheduling, and answering questions about TEAM services. The role involves entering clinical information into TEAM software and requires a holistic approach to understanding client issues.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, Associates or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Institution and/or 1+ year experience working in the Medical, Behavioral Health, or Substance Use Disorder setting.
  • 1+ year as Medical Receptionist, Medical front desk, Health Unit Coordinator, Clinical Assistant, or Triage scheduling preferred.
  • Advanced computer and internet navigation skills including Excel, Word, Outlook and electronic health record keeping software.
  • Ability to be flexible in handling crises.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-cultural situations.
  • Ability to work under pressure.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish/English is highly encouraged.

Responsibilities

  • Perform consistent verbal and written follow-up with clients.
  • Handle in-person and phone crises that require quick judgement and response.
  • Assist in preparation and development of promotional items related to TEAM.
  • Maintain working knowledge of relevant state and federal confidentiality regulations.
  • Interact, communicate and promote TEAM services at account functions such as benefits fairs, open enrollment, and other account programs or conferences.
  • Perform outreach to TEAM stakeholders to facilitate trainings and coordinating schedule(s) with Management.
  • Perform customer satisfaction surveys and outreach to participants.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Maintain accurate case notes that reflect the correct dates of services and chart the data from the session, assessment and plan.
  • Maintain accurate records of time spent in direct service to clients as well as peripheral services such checking collateral or outreach to appropriate referrals.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations with client records and confidentiality, and accurately represent their training, credentials, and competencies.
  • Know and carry out all duties of mandated reporting for state and federal statutes.
  • Inform clients of their rights and limits of confidentiality.
  • Working knowledge of new developments, including but not limited to, the mental health fields of psychiatry, social work, marriage, family therapy, and chemical dependency.
