About The Position

WGNSTAR, an ABM company, is hiring an Adjustment Technician to support facilities operations in Camas, Washington. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of mechanical systems and building and facility equipment, including plumbing, heating, and cooling systems. The technician follows work instructions and job plans, completes assigned work orders and repair projects, and maintains quality and safety standards in a highly regulated environment. The position is full-time and pays $26–$28 per hour, depending on experience. After training, the schedule is 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday through Tuesday, with every other Wednesday worked. Local candidates only. The position is eligible for WGNSTAR’s benefits package.

Requirements

Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot electrical systems.
Ability to work with sensors, PLCs, motors, and control systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Effective organization, prioritization, and time management abilities.
Ability to work in a highly regulated environmental compliance culture and follow strict safety procedures.
Willingness to work a compressed work-week schedule.
Experience working in cleanroom environments.

Nice To Haves

1–2 years of experience in facilities maintenance, including preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Experience supporting facility operations and maintaining mechanical building systems.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve operational and maintenance issues on mechanical systems.
Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on building and facility equipment, fixtures, and systems.
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility plumbing, mechanical, heating, and cooling systems.
Use sound judgment to resolve non-standard maintenance and operational problems.
Follow work instructions and job plans while meeting quality and safety standards.
Review and complete assigned work orders, maintenance tasks, and repair projects efficiently.
