About The Position

Springfield College is seeking dynamic and experienced adjunct faculty members to join its Physician Assistant program and deliver high-quality education to PA students. The college’s DMSc program is designed for medical professionals seeking to advance their knowledge and expertise in medical science and leadership.

Responsibilities depend on the role and may include assisting in PA program cadaver labs, providing timely and constructive student feedback, and communicating actively with students to support their learning and professional growth. Cadaver lab assistance requires availability Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. during the semester.

Compensation for a 3-credit course is $2,820 for adjunct faculty with fewer than three years of college teaching experience and $3,513 for those with three or more years of college teaching experience. Requirements

• At least one year of experience as a Physician Assistant or experience matching course expertise, such as pathologist, pharmacist, or anatomist.
• Strong commitment to student success and academic excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience teaching in a PA program or precepting clinical students.
• Knowledge of and experience with Learning Management Systems, particularly Brightspace.
