About The Position
The Rowan University Department of Music’s Vocal Division is now hiring a part-time adjunct musical theater voice studio teacher to instruct undergraduate students in the Theater and Dance Department’s Musical Theater Concentration.
Requirements
- At least a Masters Degree in Voice Performance, Vocal Pedagogy, or Musical Theater
- Established career as a professional singer in the musical theater profession or at least three years of college teaching experience
- Piano skills required to teach lessons
- Knowledge of golden age to contemporary musical theater repertoire
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Teach private voice lessons to students enrolled in the BA in Theater (Musical Theater concentration)
- Participate in end of semester juries
