This position involves teaching Psych 345: Mediation and Conflict Resolution. The course covers foundational principles and practical skills of mediation and conflict resolution, including communication skills, information gathering, active listening, reframing, negotiation, problem solving, managing conflict, and agreement writing. The instructor will prepare students to apply mediation concepts through role-play and experiential learning. The department values belonging, student mentoring, a collegial culture, and the ideals of open and reproducible research. The role also involves helping students explore how faith and reason can work together in understanding human thoughts, feelings, virtues, and behaviors. This course will be taught as an in-person day class during Fall Semester 2026. Specific days/times are to be determined.
