This position involves teaching two courses in Constitutional Law: POLI 420: Constitutional Law – American Federal System, which covers key aspects of American politics, Supreme Court decisions, and the historical development of legal doctrines, and POLI 421: Constitutional Law – Rights and Immunities, which focuses on institutional issues within US government structures, including the rights and powers of the President, Congress, the judiciary, states, and individuals. The selected candidate(s) will be responsible for classroom instruction, holding office hours, grading papers, and providing student feedback. They are not expected to participate in faculty meetings or serve on department committees. The position requires the successful candidate to relocate to and reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.
