About The Position

Brigham Young University (BYU) is seeking an Adjunct Teaching faculty member to teach management courses, specifically STRAT 392, 431, 432, and 560, starting in the Fall Semester of 2026. This role involves presenting concepts in class or online, reviewing and grading student work, and answering student questions. A key aspect of this position is to strengthen the faith of students through testimony and experiences, aligning with the university's unique mission. The position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment. Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree Required, Masters or PhD preferred.
  • The required degree must be completed by the start date.
  • Business Management Strategy experience required.
  • Must relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of employment.
  • All new employees who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be required to hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend.
  • All employees are required to abide by the university's Honor Code and Dress & Grooming Standards.
  • Successful candidates are expected to support and contribute to the academic and religious missions of the university within the context of the principles and doctrines of the affiliated church.

Responsibilities

  • Teach and administer the following classes: STRAT 392 (Introduction strategy course), STRAT 431 (Strategic Thinking 1), STRAT 432 (Strategic Thinking II), STRAT 560 (Strategy for MAcc and MISM students)
  • Start Fall Semester 2026.
  • Review and grade written work.
  • Present concepts in class or online format.
  • Answer student questions.
  • Strengthen the faith of students with testimony and experiences.
