Requirements

  • JD required.
  • Required degree must be completed by the start date.
  • Must be an active member of the Utah Bar.
  • Knowledge of the topic and significant teaching experience.
  • Successful candidates are expected to support and contribute to the academic and religious missions of the university within the context of the principles and doctrines of the affiliated church.

Responsibilities

  • Teach a course on Evidence: An examination of the law of evidence, including the principles governing the admissibility of evidence, the competency of witnesses, and the function of lawyer, judge, and jury in the presentation and evaluation of evidence.
  • Spend some time outside of class to address questions related to the class.
