About The Position
This is an adjunct teaching position for GWS 397R: Editing for Publication for Summer 2026 only. The adjunct will be responsible for teaching the course and working with students on editing and formatting biographical entries in preparation for sending the current GWS project for publication.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in English or Publishing.
- Prior experience teaching university-level courses.
- Experience discussing potentially sensitive topics in a manner that advances the goals and mission of Brigham Young University.
- Experience editing biographical entries.
- Experience guiding students through the editing process.
- Must relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of employment.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s Degree plus experience teaching/writing in GWS-related subjects.
