About The Position

This position involves the instruction of university undergraduates for a Geography of Urban Environments class during the Fall 2026 term. The instructor will be responsible for giving and grading assignments and holding office hours as needed. The role does not require attendance at department meetings. The successful candidate will be required to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment. Requirements

• Master's degree required, PhD preferred.
• Degree must be in Geography or a related field.
• Degree must be completed by the start date.
• Teaching experience and/or excellent knowledge of Urban Geography.
• Must relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of employment.
• Submit a mission alignment statement.
• Abide by the university's Honor Code and Dress & Grooming Standards.
• Support and contribute to the academic and religious missions of the university.
