Adjunct Teaching - Biology - BIO 445: Herpetology
About The Position
This position involves teaching Bio 445: Herpetology. The role includes providing lectures and lab experiences, developing course materials with a focus on active learning, and holding weekly office hours. A key aspect of the role is developing lab experiences that utilize museum collections. The position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment. Requirements
- Classification, handling, and teaching about reptiles and amphibians
- Previous experience supervising student teaching assistants
- PhD. degree must be completed by the start date
- Relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of employment
- Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and hold a current temple recommend
- Abide by the university's Honor Code and Dress & Grooming Standards
- Support and contribute to the academic and religious missions of the university within the context of the principles and doctrines of the affiliated church

- Experience as a herpetology museum curator is a plus
