This position involves teaching New Testament courses (Rel A 211, 212, or 250) within the Evening School program. The role may include teaching Day, Evening, or BYU Online classes. Applicants are required to submit an updated curriculum vitae, cover letter, and a Mission Alignment Statement. Successful candidates must relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment. For members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Mission Alignment Statement should address loyalty to Jesus Christ and His Church, building faith in students, and teaching with the Spirit. For non-members, it should describe understanding and commitment to the Mission of Brigham Young University and the AIMS of a BYU Education. All new employees who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints must hold a current temple recommend and abide by the university's Honor Code and Dress & Grooming Standards. Preference is given to qualified candidates who are members in good standing of the affiliated church. Successful candidates are expected to support and contribute to the academic and religious missions of the university within the context of the principles and doctrines of the affiliated church.
