About The Position

Oakland Community College (OCC) is a student-centered community college in Oakland County, Michigan, dedicated to providing accessible and affordable learning opportunities. As one of the largest community colleges in Michigan, OCC serves over 12,000 students across multiple campuses. OCC is looking for Adjunct Faculty Instructors who are committed to diversity, shared responsibility, open communication, personal empowerment, integrity, and ethical conduct. A key requirement for Adjunct Faculty is the commitment to integrating modern technology into their teaching. Applications are kept on file continuously for adjunct positions, and instructors are hired as enrollment needs dictate throughout the academic year. When a need arises, candidates from the pool are reviewed, and the department will contact them directly. Candidates without legal residency in Michigan will be employed through Edustaff, which will handle employment offers, salary, and benefits. Requirements

  • Master's degree in Spanish
  • Commitment to using modern technology in the classroom.

Responsibilities

  • Teach day and/or evening Spanish courses, from basic to advanced skill levels.
  • Maintain and/or provide licensure and certifications where applicable.
