About The Position

This position is to assist Prof. Aylin Aykanat with research in her group lab. The research involves porous materials (MOFs, HOFs, COFs), polymers, and fiber composites for CO2 capture, hydrogen storage, and catalytic degradation of toxic chemicals. The role also includes establishing techniques for investigating the stability of porous materials for real-world applications. Beyond research, the position involves mentoring students, participating in writing manuscripts and grant proposals, and assisting with lab clean up.

Requirements

  • PHD in Chemistry.
  • Research knowledge involving the research on porous materials and polymers.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting research on porous materials (MOFs, HOFs, COFs), polymers, and fiber composites for CO2 capture, hydrogen storage, and catalytic degradation of toxic chemicals.
  • Establishing techniques for investigating the stability of porous materials for real-world applications.
  • Mentoring both graduate and undergraduate students.
