About The Position

Florida SouthWestern State College is seeking an Adjunct Professor for the Cardiovascular Technology Program within the School of Allied Health. Adjunct professors are responsible for delivering high-quality instruction within the established curriculum. This includes teaching courses, preparing and presenting lectures and labs, administering and grading exams, and providing academic support to students. Requirements

• A minimum of a related Associates degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education and Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
• A Bachelors, Masters or Doctoral degree in a healthcare related field from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
• Demonstrated ability to use technology in creating and delivering course content.
• Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the subject area to be taught and currency in the discipline.

Responsibilities

• Conducting and teaching courses within the prescribed curriculum for students enrolled at the College
• Preparing and delivering lectures/labs to students
• Compiling, administering, and grading examinations
• Providing academic assistance to students as needed
