About The Position
North Central College invites applications for an adjunct faculty pool in the English department. We seek qualified instructors to teach courses as needed on a semester-by-semester basis. Applications will be reviewed continuously, and candidates will be considered for future openings as they arise.
Requirements
- M.A., M.F.A., or Ph.D. in a related field.
- Commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring of students.
- In the cover letter, identify which courses are of interest and the expertise you would bring to teaching in this area.
Responsibilities
- Teach a variety of English courses, including composition, literature, creative and professional writing, and other related subjects, depending on departmental needs.
- Course preparation, instruction, grading, and student support.
