About The Position
The School of Communication and Mass Media at Northwest Missouri State University is seeking candidates to create a pool of applicants who can teach as an Adjunct within the following Mass Media disciplines: Social Media Management, Mass Media, Broadcasting and Production, Multimedia Journalism, Sports Media, Advertising and Digital Media/Content Strategy. Classes may be in the Fall, Spring or Summer term. Classes may be held on-campus or online.
Requirements
- Graduate degree in specific discipline listed above with 18 hours in content area and/or credentials, qualifications and/or tested experience sufficient for HLC accreditation
- Driver’s license
- Evidence of successful teaching in the discipline
- Skills and experience with instructional technology
Responsibilities
- Teach courses within specific disciplines with the School of Communication & Mass Media
- Perform other duties as assigned
