About The Position

Instructor(s) are needed for three undergraduate Theology courses: (1) THEO 2235-A / 3335-A Interreligious Dialogue (2) THEO 2235-B / 3335-B Interreligious Dialogue (3) THEO 2270-XC1 / GPS 3900-XC1 Benedictine Wisdom. THEO 2235-A / 3335-A will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00-4:15pm during our Fall 2026 semester, which begins on August 31, 2026, and ends December 13, 2026. THEO 2235-B / 3335-B will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30-5:45pm during our Fall 2026 semester, which begins on August 31, 2026, and ends December 13, 2026. THEO 2270-XC1 / GPS 3900-XC1 Benedictine Wisdom is an online asynchronous course taught in an accelerated 8-week format, starting August 31, 2026, and ending October 25, 2026.

Requirements

  • Doctoral or Master’s degree and experience in relevant area required.
  • Submit a cover letter, resume, and three professional Letters of Recommendation.
  • Present Official Transcripts and Curriculum Vitae (CV) if offered an adjunct faculty position.
  • Verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
  • Follow campus specific guidelines for pandemic protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate Theology courses: THEO 2235-A / 3335-A Interreligious Dialogue, THEO 2235-B / 3335-B Interreligious Dialogue, and THEO 2270-XC1 / GPS 3900-XC1 Benedictine Wisdom.
  • Complete all University-specific and/or OSHA related training to fulfill job duties.
  • Follow campus specific guidelines for pandemic protocols.
