Adjunct Instructor - Theology
About The Position
St. Norbert College is accepting applications for instructors qualified to teach Theology. This is a continuing applicant pool, and applications will remain active for up to two years. The college is a nationally ranked, private, Catholic, liberal arts institution. Courses may be taught in person on the St. Norbert College campus in De Pere, WI, or potentially online. The dean of arts and sciences and the discipline coordinator will review applications as staffing needs arise and will contact interested applicants for interviews. Adjunct faculty may also be needed to fill last-minute voids. All decisions are made at the discretion of the dean, and meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee acceptance.
Requirements
- MA degree in Theology.
- Evidence of classroom teaching.
- At least five years of professional experience in the field with demonstrated currency in the field at the time of appointment (work experience, publications, licensure, presentations, or equivalent within the last five years).
- Submit a current curriculum vitae.
- Submit an introductory cover letter.
- Submit evidence of teaching effectiveness.
Nice To Haves
- PhD is preferred.
- Ability to teach additional courses in the St. Norbert Core Curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Teach Theology courses, including Theological Foundations (THRS 117).
- Potentially teach additional courses in the St. Norbert Core Curriculum.
- Be available for last-minute teaching needs.
