Adjunct Instructor - Theology
About The Position
St. Norbert College is accepting applications on a continuing basis for instructors qualified to teach Theology. This pool will be utilized on an as-needed basis, and applications will remain active for up to two years. Specific courses include Theological Foundations (THRS 117), with a preference for the ability to teach additional courses in the St. Norbert Core Curriculum. Courses will be taught in person on campus or potentially online. The dean of arts and sciences and the discipline coordinator will review the pool and contact applicants for interviews as staffing needs arise. Adjunct faculty may also be needed to fill last-minute voids.
Requirements
- MA degree in Theology.
- Evidence of classroom teaching.
- At least five years of professional experience in the field with demonstrated currency in the field at the time of appointment (work experience, publications, licensure, presentations, or equivalent within the last five years).
- Commitment to St. Norbert College's mission and principles of dignity, truth, and justice.
Nice To Haves
- PhD is preferred.
- Ability to teach additional courses in the St. Norbert Core Curriculum is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Teach Theology courses, including Theological Foundations (THRS 117).
