About The Position
St. Norbert College is accepting applications for instructors qualified to teach U.S. history. This is a continuing applicant pool that will be utilized on an as-needed basis. Applications will remain active for up to two years. Specific courses include History of the United States 1 & 2. The dean of arts and sciences will review the pool and contact interested applicants for interviews as staffing needs arise. Adjunct faculty may also be needed to fill last-minute voids. Decisions are made at the discretion of the dean, and meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee acceptance.
Requirements
- At least a MA degree in history.
- At least five years of professional experience in the field.
- Demonstrated currency in the field at the time of appointment (work experience, publications, licensure, presentations, or equivalent within the last five years).
- Ability to embrace the mission and commitment to building a vibrant, diverse, and spiritually engaged community.
Nice To Haves
- PhD is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Teach History of the United States 1 & 2.
- Fill last-minute voids in teaching schedules as needed.
