About The Position

St. Norbert College is accepting applications on a continuing basis for instructors qualified to teach any specialization in history outside of U.S. history. Courses may include lower-division survey classes in world and European history, and/or upper-division core curriculum courses in European, Asian, African, and Latin American history. This pool will be utilized on an as-needed basis, and applications will remain active for up to two years. The dean of arts and sciences will review the pool and contact interested applicants for interviews as staffing needs arise. Adjunct faculty may also be needed to fill last-minute voids.

Requirements

  • At least an MA degree in history.
  • At least five years of professional experience in the field with demonstrated currency in the field at the time of appointment (work experience, publications, licensure, presentations, or equivalent within the last five years).
  • Ability to teach any specialization in history outside of U.S. history.

Nice To Haves

  • PhD is preferred.
