About The Position

St. Norbert College is accepting applications on a continuing basis for instructors qualified to teach U.S. history. This is a pool position that will be utilized on an as-needed basis. Applications will remain active for up to two years. The dean of arts and sciences will review the pool and contact interested applicants for interviews as staffing needs arise. Adjunct faculty may also be needed to fill last-minute voids. The college seeks individuals who will embrace its mission and commitment to building a vibrant, diverse, and spiritually engaged community.

Requirements

• At least a MA degree in history.
• At least five years of professional experience in the field.
• Demonstrated currency in the field at the time of appointment (work experience, publications, licensure, presentations, or equivalent within the last five years).
• Ability to embrace the college's mission and commitment to building a vibrant, diverse, and spiritually engaged community.

Nice To Haves

• PhD is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in U.S. History, including History of the United States 1 & 2.
• Fill last-minute voids in teaching schedules as needed.
• Participate in interviews to communicate teaching needs.
