About The Position

St. Norbert College is accepting applications on a continuing basis for instructors qualified to teach courses in Communication. These courses may cover topics such as communication studies, sports communication, journalism, public relations, business communication, or media studies. This pool will be used as needed, and applications will remain active for up to two years. The dean of arts and sciences will review applicants when staffing needs arise and will contact those selected for interviews. Adjunct faculty may also be needed for last-minute vacancies. Applicants who meet the minimum requirements are not guaranteed acceptance. Due to this being a pool application, there may be a delay in hearing back. Requirements

• MA degree in Communication or a related field.
• At least five years of professional experience in the field with demonstrated currency in the field within the last five years (work experience, publications, licensure, presentations, or equivalent).
• Ability to teach at the undergraduate level.

Nice To Haves

• PhD.
• Experience teaching students at the undergraduate level.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in Communication, potentially focusing on communication studies, sports communication, journalism, public relations, business communication, or media studies.
• Be available for interviews as staffing needs arise.
