About The Position

Adjunct Instructor responsible for teaching online business courses. This is a temporary, part-time position within the College of Business. The role involves setting up and ensuring the quality of online, asynchronous courses, engaging with students on discussion boards, grading assignments, providing feedback, communicating with students and administrators, and performing various administrative functions related to reporting and student engagement.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Human Resource Management, or Information Technology
A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience required
Online teaching experience required
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the field is required
Must submit a cover letter outlining specific courses qualified to teach, direct background developing and teaching courses in an online setting, and teaching philosophy.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree preferred
Experience in Canvas Learning Management System highly desired
7-10 years of experience with leadership progression preferred

Responsibilities

Teaching online courses
Course set-up and quality review
Weekly engagement on discussion board
Grading and providing individual feedback to students
Regular communication with students and administrators
