Part Time - Anthropology - Adjunct Instructor
About The Position
Penn State Abington’s Division of Social Sciences, Psychological and Social Sciences program, invites applications for an adjunct instructor of Anthropology to teach ANTH 45N: Cultural Diversity: A Global Perspective to begin in January 2027 with the possibility of continuing in August 2027. Candidates must be able to teach this introductory course in Cultural Anthropology and classes are in-person or hybrid for this position. We are offering two sections of the course. Those sections run Tuesday and Thursday from 3:05 p.m. to 4:20 p.m. and 4:35 p.m. to 5:50 p.m. There is flexibility, however, in the days/times we offer these courses. The Abington College of Pennsylvania State University is a four-year college with a diverse population of 4,000 students in the suburb of Abington, Pennsylvania. While maintaining a close-knit academic community atmosphere typical of a small liberal arts college, Abington offers its students and faculty all of the resources of a major research university. Requirements
- Doctoral degree in Anthropology (preferred)
- ABD or Masters level candidates will be considered
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching undergraduates
