About The Position
This is an opportunity for an experienced automotive technician to transition into a teaching role, sharing their real-world knowledge and training the next generation of automotive professionals. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 3 years of hands-on automotive repair experience
- ASE Certifications required within 6-12 months of hire
- Strong knowledge of diagnostics, electrical systems, engine performance, and repair procedures
- Ability to work independently and manage your day
- Strong communication and organization skills

Responsibilities
- Teach hands-on automotive repair and diagnostic skills using real vehicles and shop equipment
- Demonstrate proper safety procedures, tool usage, and repair techniques
- Share troubleshooting strategies, customer service insights, and workflow best practices
- Mentor students at various skill levels — from entry-level to advanced learners
- Prepare students for industry certifications (ASE and state licensing where applicable)
- Participate in paid training and ongoing professional development
- Work independently while receiving support from an experienced education team
