ADJUNCT: Plumbing & HVACR Programs
About The Position
SUNY Delhi is accepting applications for a continuous-recruitment applicant pool for adjunct instructors in its Plumbing & HVACR programs within the School of Applied Technologies and Architecture. These listings are not current vacancies. Applications are reviewed as needed, and applicants are contacted when the college determines there is a staffing need. Programs include Plumbing & Heating (AOS degree) and HVAC (AAS degree). Positions are part-time. Adjunct instructors deliver learning-centered instruction to undergraduate students, implement school and campus academic and attendance policies, and stay informed about developments in their subject area and field of practice. Instructors should be able to work effectively in a diverse community and meet the needs of diverse student populations.
Requirements
- Appropriate college-level degree or a high-school diploma with work experience, as determined by the Dean and commensurate with the level of course complexity.
Nice To Haves
- Five years of professional or work experience in the trade.
- License in the subject area, where applicable.
- Prior teaching experience.
- Graduate-level teaching assistants, assistant instructors, research assistants, and graduate students are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
