About The Position

Chatham Graduate Psychology is seeking Adjunct Instructors to teach masters and doctoral-level courses in their Counseling Psychology Programs. Adjunct instructors deliver instruction consistent with course syllabi, maintain records, respond to student diversity, and utilize clear learning goals. Primary teaching duties will be within the PSY discipline. These positions are hired on an as-needed, usually semester-by-semester basis, with assignments dependent on schedule and enrollment.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology or a related field
  • Two (2) years of experience teaching Psychology in a community college, college, or university setting

Nice To Haves

  • PhD (preferred)
  • PsyD (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver instruction consistent with the content and learning objectives of the course syllabus
  • Maintain grade and attendance records
  • Recognize and respond appropriately to student diversity
  • Utilize clear learning goals and well-planned activities
  • Teach within the PSY (PSY) discipline
