About The Position
Daemen University is seeking a part-time instructor for the Fall 2026 semester to teach one section of the undergraduate course, Psychology of Mental Illness (a 200-level course). This course surveys the origins, symptoms, and treatment of various forms of mental illness as described in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. The target audience includes psychology majors, minors, and non-majors.
Requirements
- Master's degree required.
- Prior experience teaching undergraduate students required.
- Teaching experience in an equivalent course or courses with similar content.
Nice To Haves
- ABD/Ph.D. preferred.
Responsibilities
- Teach one section of the Psychology of Mental Illness course.
