About The Position

This is a part-time, one-semester contract position for an Adjunct Instructor to teach "Writing 201," a second-year writing course focusing on multimodal media and writing. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and experienced teacher who applies active student-learning methods in the classroom. The course will be offered in person on the East Falls campus during the Fall semester, meeting Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:50 AM. Classes begin on August 24th and final grades are due by December 21st.

Requirements

  • M.A., Ph.D. (or ABD) in English, Rhetoric and Composition, Creative Writing, or related field.
  • Qualified to teach "Writing 201."
  • Dynamic and experienced teacher.
  • Applies active student-learning methods in the classroom.
