About The Position

The School of Business at West Virginia University Institute of Technology (WVU Tech), located in Beckley, WV, is seeking part-time adjunct faculty to teach in the Sport Management program for the Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters of 2026. Applications are accepted year-round and considered as openings occur. The role involves teaching undergraduate courses, which may be delivered in-person and/or online. Salary is determined on a per-course basis. These are part-time positions and are not benefits-eligible.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in a relevant field, OR a bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of full-time professional work experience in the course content area.
• Evidence of effective teaching at the undergraduate level.
• Submit a letter of application summarizing teaching qualifications.
• Submit curriculum vitae.
• Submit contact information for two individuals who can provide letters of recommendation.
