About The Position

The Department of Economics at the University of North Texas is seeking qualified individuals to join its adjunct applicant pool. This role will involve teaching Principles of Microeconomics and/or Principles of Macroeconomics for the Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027 semesters. The Department of Economics focuses on producing high-quality research and teaching courses that equip graduates with the economic background and quantitative skills needed for success in the job market or in Ph.D. programs. The department offers undergraduate degrees in economics (BA, BS, BBA) and a Master of Science in economics, with a curriculum covering introductory to advanced theory and statistics. There is an increasing emphasis on workforce-integrated learning to ensure graduates are career-ready. The University of North Texas has a diverse campus with a wide range of languages spoken, and the department welcomes candidates with experience with HSI/MSIs and/or who speak Spanish, Vietnamese, American Sign Language, Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin and other variations), Arabic, Tagalog, Farsi, French, or/and Yoruba.

Requirements

  • MA or MS in Economics for undergraduate courses.
