About The Position

The Department of Economics at the University of North Texas is seeking qualified individuals to join its adjunct applicant pool for teaching Principles of Microeconomics and/or Principles of Macroeconomics. This posting is for potential teaching assignments during the Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027 semesters. The Department of Economics focuses on producing high-quality research and teaching courses that equip graduates with the economic background and quantitative skills needed for success in the job market or in Ph.D. programs. The department offers undergraduate degrees in economics (BA, BS, BBA) and a master's degree (MS in economics), with a curriculum that spans introductory to advanced theory and statistics. There is an increasing emphasis on workforce-integrated learning to prepare graduates for their careers. The University of North Texas has a diverse campus and welcomes candidates with experience with HSI/MSIs and/or who speak various languages.

Requirements
